Buying Guide: How to Choose the Best Neck Pillow for Gaming Chair
Keep these factors in mind when shopping for the best neck pillow for gaming chair.
Foam density
Dense memory foam keeps its shape; soft fiberfill compresses quickly. Firmer foam is better if you rest your head while reclining.
Position the pillow at the neck curve
A headrest pillow should support the curve of your neck, not push your head forward. Set the strap so the pillow sits just below the back of your skull when you lean back.
Cover materials
Knit and cotton covers breathe; PU leather wipes clean and matches racing chairs but runs warmer. Removable covers are easiest to keep fresh.
Use it when you recline
Neck pillows help most when you recline to watch or play with a controller. Upright at the desk, keep your head balanced over your shoulders.
Neck Comfort Tips for Gamers
Go beyond the pillow:
- Raise your monitor to eye level.
- Avoid craning toward the screen.
- Roll your shoulders between matches.
- Recline when using a controller.
