Buying Guide: How to Choose the Best Armrest Cover for Gaming Chair
Keep these factors in mind when shopping for the best armrest cover for gaming chair.
Measure your armrests
Measure the length and width of the armrest top. Pads and covers list a size range; too small and they slip, too big and they bunch.
Stretch fabric vs. padded covers
Stretch covers are thin and neat; padded covers add comfort but bulk. Choose stretch covers if your armrest height is already right.
Covering peeling PU leather
A full cover is the cheapest way to hide flaking PU leather on an older gaming chair and stop flakes from sticking to clothes.
Fabric and protection
Thick jacquard resists pet claws and wear; thinner spandex is softer and cheaper. Water-resistant covers help with spills.
Fitting an Armrest Cover
Get a neat finish:
- Clean flakes off the armrest first.
- Stretch the cover evenly.
- Tuck seams underneath.
- Wash covers per the label.
